After a recent personality test, I’ve discovered that my Myers Briggs archetype is ENTJ (extroversion, intuition, thinking, judgement). It was hard to hear that my personality type has problems recognizing, utilizing a full emotion spectrum. That my opinionated, objective-seeking perspectives can be found as abrasive condescending. My Inner (lets be honest, exterior) drama queen was in full blown hysterics. How could such a simple concept be so illusive when my sub/un conscious mind should at the very least understand six basic emotions!! (Nerd Alert).
This new internal conflict was creating a narrative of shame and a tin man who was hard to love.
With the advocacy and current pushes for mental health initiatives, I’m trying to reduce these intrusive failure chronicle that needs a re-write to a story. Brush this shame off my shoulders.
